MyCitadel ("we," "us," or "our") operates MyCitadel.ai, a personal life management platform that helps you strengthen relationships, track your wellbeing, and achieve your goals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
We take privacy seriously. The personal information you store in MyCitadel — about yourself, your family, and the people you care about — is sensitive. We are committed to handling it with care, transparency, and respect.
We use your information to provide and operate the MyCitadel service, power the Oracle AI assistant with relevant context from your account, send service-related communications, improve and debug the application, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.
MyCitadel uses Anthropic's Claude API to power the Oracle feature. When you send a message to the Oracle, relevant portions of your account data are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. This data is used solely to generate your response and is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with advertisers. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate MyCitadel (Anthropic, Stripe, Google), when required by law, or in the event of a business transfer with advance notice to you.
Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit, secure password hashing, and access controls. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law. Oracle conversation logs may be retained for up to 90 days after account deletion for abuse prevention purposes.
You can access, correct, and delete your information directly through the application at any time. California residents have rights under the CCPA. European residents have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. To exercise any rights or request a data export, contact us at privacy@mycitadel.ai.
MyCitadel is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
MyCitadel may display affiliate links in features such as gift recommendations. When affiliate links are present they will be clearly disclosed. Clicking an affiliate link means you are leaving MyCitadel and your activity on that site is governed by their privacy policy.
MyCitadel uses session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice in the application. Continued use of MyCitadel after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
